Infographics Submission & Guidelines
Infographics provide an excellent platform to showcase various concepts related to chronic pain in an efficient, easy-to-interpret, creative, and colourful manner. In a world where we can easily be overwhelmed with data and complex information, infographics present visual information in a way that is easily understood and retained.
Please carefully review the full submission guidelines before submitting. ASEAPS 2025 reserves the right to modify the rules or cancel the contest if deemed necessary.
- Infographics may be submitted for poster or oral presentation only.
- Infographics submitted by fax, email, or post will NOT be accepted.
- Infographics must be submitted on or before 20 January 2025. The online submission system will close at 11:59 PM GMT+8 on this day.
- Please do not submit multiple copies of the same infographic.
- Only original infographics will be accepted.
CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT AND NOTIFICATION OF DECISION
- After submitting your infographic, you will receive an email confirmation that your infographic has been received.
- Notifications regarding the status of your infographic will be sent out by 20 January 2025.

JUDGING CRITERIA FOR INFOGRAPHICS
- Creative use of graphics and overall visual appeal
- Relevance of information
- Originality
- Ease of interpretation
- Judging will be a combination of panel scoring, and interactive audience
PRESENTATION AT THE CONGRESS
- Instructions for the preparation of infographic presentations will be sent together with acceptance notifications.
- Presenting authors must register for the Congress and pay the registration fee for inclusion in the scientific programme and the presentation schedule.
PREPARING YOUR INFOGRAPHIC SUBMISSION
The infographic should be as informative as possible and include the following details:
- The infographic must meet the following specifications:
- Infographic title– Limited to 25 words
- Infographic text – Limited to 300 words
- Infographic topic– Infographic must be allocated to a specific topic from the Chronic Pain (See Categories)
- Your infographic should be original, reflecting your personal creativity, while also being visually appealing and captivating to the audience.
- Any images used should be cited (Creative commons, public domain, or personally taken/designed).
- Your infographic should be original, reflecting your creativity, while also being visually appealing and captivating to the audience. Consider how to present this information visually, then design your infographic to be aesthetically pleasing, eye-catching, and concise in wording. Websites offering useful tools and tips include the following:
- All infographics must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.
- Please note that infographics must be submitted before the deadline in order to be sent to review for inclusion in the Scientific Programme.
- File formats and size limitations:
- Files should be less than 50 megabytes in size.
- Images must be in digital format and meet specific technical requirements, such as being in PDF or JPEG format.
- Include your name and contact information on the image.
- Please note that the infographics are non-interactive and will be displayed on a large plasma screen.
DECLARATION OF CONSENT TO PUBLICATION AND ASSIGNATION OF COPYRIGHT
Please take note of the following terms:
- The submitted infographics cannot be modified or corrected after the submission deadline has closed. The Infographic Submitter understands that it will be published as submitted.
- Submission of the infographics constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g. Congress website, programme, and other promotional materials).
- The Infographic Submitter warrants and represents that no part of the information and content provided by him/her (hereafter referred to as the “Content”) to ASEAPS 2025 and Kenes MP Asia (hereafter referred to as the “Organisers”), nor the publication of any such Content by the Organisers, on the internet or otherwise, infringes any third-party rights, including, but not limited to, privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights.
- The Infographic Submitter grants the Organisers a copyright license to reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive basis.
- The Infographic Submitter is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.
- The Organisers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation any abstract which does not comply with the above terms.
